Oil climbs above $ 109/bbl on Iran, diesel supply concerns
SINGAPORE, April 8 (Reuters) — Oil rose above 9 on Tuesday, as Iran said it had started to set up advanced centrifuges at a uranium enrichment facility, and on fears over diesel supply disruptions following a European refinery fire.

New overseas investment guidelines up
The Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) approved a new set of guidelines for its external fund management.

Money supply rise slows down to 6.6%
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said domestic liquidity or M3 expanded by 6.6 percent year-on-year as of February to P3 trillion, slower than the growth in January of 7.2 percent.

TIWI-MAKBAN REHAB WORKS
The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) has scheduled a second pre-bid conference on the Tiwi and Makiling-Banahaw geothermal plants sale on April 16 to resolve a major issue raised by investors on the required rehabilitation work for the assets.

Korea funds $ 2.2-M Dagupan seafoods plant
A $ 2.2-million seafood processing plant will be put up in Dagupan City to be financed by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) and is expected to enhance export prospects of Pangasinan.
